£100m Opportunity for Building Firms in Carmarthenshire

    Good news for small and medium sized building services firms that have a chance to compete for part of a £100m housing work project. Carmarthenshire County Council is on the hunt for eight local or medium sized contractors to carry all types of residential repairs and new work.     Contracts allocated under the framework are expected to add up to a sizeable £100m pot of work over the four-year arrangement. The council is searching for small to medium sized builders that to be eligible must turnover between £1.5m to £20m per year.   The framework will also be opened out to Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Services, Dyfed Powys Police and University of Wales Trinity St David.   Firms have until 8 November to express an interest.
