Vinci gets £11m Bristol Hospital Expansion

  VINCI Construction UK has been confirmed as main contractor on £35m building jobs in the South West and West Midlands with a £11m design and build contract from Nuffield Health to expand Chesterfield Hospital in Bristol.     The new building involves construction of specialist imaging facilities, three operating theatres, patient accommodation and outpatient services. It also includes the refurbishment of an existing Grade II listed Georgian villa to provide administration and conference facilities.     Vinci is also the preferred bidder for an £16m job to develop and maintain a new community hospital and two new GP practices at the Eco Business Park in Ludlow.   On the south coast, the firm has won an £8.3m design and build contract from Deeley Freed for a new mixed-use scheme in the heart of Weymouth.   Vinci will build a three storey head office building for New Look, build a new industrial unit and deliver extensive road improvement works.
